Kill A coerced revenant and loot the Tattered Memo and Rod Segment 'I'.

The Memo states:

Day 55 I have happened upon the Crypt of Dalnir. His Grand Forge is near, I can feel it.
I have also discovered a segment of a staff. It shows signs of Iksar craftsmanship, but of the age of Atrebe. I know the other part must be here. It would fetch heavy coin.

If you combine Rod Segment 'I' and Rod Segment 'II' (A Kly Imprecator) with the Forge Hammer of Dalnir (dropped by an undead blacksmith who can be found in the room w/ 3 decapitated Iksar statues on the same floor as the chapel) in the Always Works forge, you will get the .

The Long Iron Rods use is unknown.
