Part 1: Acquiring the Deck

This quest is given by Ferjeneror, but you can start in the Dining Room before moving on to the Hedge Maze.

King Cod Card

There is a level 1 ogre named Dinner on the table of the Dining Room. Kill Dinner to loot the King Cod Card. Be cautious when going to loot the card as there are two level 55 wizards perma-rooted to the chandelier above him. They are scowling to everyone and like to chain ice comets together. They cannot be hit by melee attacks and will not chase when aggroed. It's wise to use Harmony or Calm before entering, or simply moving very quickly.

Colored Cod Cards

Alternatively, you can fish in the castle moat for the four colored cod cards: , , , and . You can turn these four cards in instead of the .

Reward

After looting the card(s) head to the flower maze and turn in your King Cod Card or all four colored cod cards to the sphinx named Ferjeneror to get your:

Part 2: Using the Deck of Spontaneous Generation

Throughout the Plane of Mischief, various Mobs drop playing cards. Collect these cards and combine them in the , with each combination generating a different reward.

Rewards

Note that every item here except the , , and require at least one Throne card.

= Armor of Distraction

=

These armor pieces are used in two different ways (together) to create Plane of Mischief Armor.

First, they can be used in the The Gift Box quest (along with a Words of Wealth) to create gift boxes, which generate Plane of Mischief dolls. Second, those dolls can be combined with (still more) armor pieces in the Plane of Mischief Armor Quest to create Plane of Mischief Armor.

Note that every armor piece requires two thrones except the (which require only one). Because the gift boxes to generate the dolls require a minimum of two thrones to generate, every armor piece except the requires at least four throne cards ... and remember, gift boxes are random, so it could take many more unless you trade with other players or are very lucky.

=

= Flowers

=

All flowers except the requires all four colors of a single type of card. The Red flower instead requires a White card of every type.

This means that most flowers do not require any thrones, but the requires one and the requires four!

= Wrist Items

=

Every wrist item requires two thrones, a crown, and a knight.

= Other (One Throne)

=

Each of these items requires a card of each type for a single color. There is a combination for every color except white (all white cards yields a flower; see above).

= Other (Two Thrones)

=

Each of these items requires two thrones and two crowns.

Notes

Other combines were added later when Plane of Mischief was revamped, but because the revamp happened after Velious those combines will never be added to Project 1999.
